Robotics Instructor
The TEAK Fellowship is seeking an experienced teacher to teach Robotics during our 6-week Spring semester. The Instructor will be responsible for implementing the curriculum established by TEAK for one section of approximately thirteen students one or two times a week from April 28 - June 4, 2026.
The TEAK Fellowship is a ten-year enrichment program that offers New York City students from under-resourced communities intensive after-school and summer academic classes, transformational cultural experiences, secondary school, and college guidance, a vibrant internship program, and a robust support system. TEAK students earn admission/financial aid at our Nation’s most prestigious academic institutions and graduate from them determined to make an impact on communities in need of their contributions and leadership.
Duties include:
Teach 1 or 2 sections to 8th graders April 28 through June 4, 2026.
Provide classroom supervision and instruction Tuesday and/or Thursday (6 sessions per section).
Attend instructor orientation TBD
Use Google Classroom to assign Fellow homework.
Provide final written student comments.
TEAK offers generous compensation to its instructors. Salary is a maximum of $2000 per section for the term.
